Hello there! Thanks for taking time to want to get to know us better.
We are actually a part of a much larger organization, called Youth With A Mission, which
is an international, interdenominational mission organization that has been around for
just over 50 yrs. Every YWAM location has their own focus, but everyoneʼs heart is in it for
the same reason,“To Know God and Make Him Known.”

Here at YWAM Atlanta, we really have a desire to get involved with those around us and
help train and raise up missionaries. We want to continue to mobilize christians and
challenge young people to start new types of ministry to reach every type of culture!
We have so many different cultures and sub-cultures here in this city and we want to
reach them through building relationships and various types of ministry. We canʼt wait to
see them excited about what God has in store for each one of them and have the
opportunity to speak out truth, where Satan has come in and lied, discouraged and
placed strongholds. There is an inheritance for each one of us and we want to be a part
of seeing that released!

Have you ever lived somewhere or been somewhere, where you know that there is
something different about that place, or you just know something is going to happen?
Well, let me just tell you - Atlanta is one of those places. God definitely has something
incredible in store for this city and the momentum is building.....

We have over 4,000 churches in metro-Atlanta. Can you imagine the day when all those
churches come together and start working together? Picture the teams of people
pouring out of each church from every denomination, people group, age and ethnicity -
going into all the world! Churches and mission organizations serving each other and
helping their neighbors. Spreading Godʼs love in every way. We pray that as we
continue to make ourselves available to God, that He will help show us how to make an
influence and impact here in Atlanta and around the world!

What We Believe

Youth With A Mission (YWAM) is an international movement of Christians
from many denominations dedicated to presenting Jesus personally to this
generation, to mobilizing as many as possible to help in this task, and to the
training and equipping of believers for their part in fulfilling the Great
Commission. As citizens of God's kingdom, we are called to love, worship,
and obey our Lord, to love and serve His Body, the Church, and to present
the whole gospel for the whole person throughout the whole world.

We of Youth With A Mission believe that the Bible is God's inspired and
authoritative word, revealing that Jesus Christ is God's son; that people are
created in God's image; that He created us to have eternal life through Jesus
Christ; that although all people have sinned and come short of God's glory,
God has made salvation possible through the death on the cross and
resurrection of Jesus Christ; that repentance, faith, love and obedience are
fitting responses to God's initiative of grace towards us; that God desires all
people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth; and that the
Holy Spirit's power is demonstrated in and through us for the
accomplishment of Christ's last commandment, "...Go ye into all the world
and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15).
