ABOUT YWAM
HERE IS OUR WHY
ABOUT YWAM ATLANTA
Greg and Ramona Musch with their 3 young children, were called to Atlanta in 1989 to pioneer YWAM Atlanta. They began working with Kings Kids, and gained much favor in the city and local churches. In 1991, the first YWAM Atlanta DTS was run, with 21 students. Since then there have been many DTS’s, School of Evangelism, and Basic Leadership schools. And sending teams to every continent of the world.
In 1996 they took part in gathering YWAMer’s and Kings Kids and led a massive outreach of more than 12,000 people to the Olympics. Because of Greg and Ramona’s eldership and leadership the base quickly became a sending base and place of mentorship for new leaders, and many bases and works were pioneered through YWAM Atlanta.
Over the years YWAM Atlanta has been involved in many different types of ministry in our city. Which includes some work in our urban city center, as well as a more recent focus in a suburb of Atlanta called “Clarkston” which has seen more than 40,000 refugees resettled in the last 2 decades.
Our current YWAM Atlanta team is excited to continue to build upon the foundation that Greg and Ramona have built over the last 30 years in our city. We have recently begun to re-pioneer our training programs. With DTS taking place in historic Stone Mountain Village and our SBS located in Smyrna.
God has been rekindling our hearts for what He wants to do in Atlanta and the nations through this next generation. We feel like Atlanta is a strategic location to see revival of the bible-belt and it to become a major place of sending for the next wave of missionaries.
